This Royal Decree provides for the establishment of community fisheries to improve citizens’ standards of living by using fisheries resources in a sustainable manner and to contribute to economic and social improvement.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries will be responsible for the management of community fisheries.
