Abstract
This Sub-Decree No. 19 ANKr/BK amends the Sub-Decree No. 180 ANKr/BK established in 2009. Cambodia has implemented Globally Harmonized System (GHS) since 2009 by Sub-Decree No. 180 ANKr/BK. Chemical substances, products, and consumer products entering the stream of commerce in Cambodia shall have labels in Khmer, hazardous information (Annex 2 (1), (2), & (3)), and safety information (Annex 4) and be in compliance with measures and regulations issued by relevant ministries/authorities in accordance with Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals.
Sub-Decree No. 19 ANKr/BK made amendments on: 1. Annex 2 regarding classification, Annex 3 regarding GHS Symbol, and Annex 4 regarding Safety Data Sheet (SDS); 2. Minister of Environment is empowered to issue Ministerial Regulation to revise Annex 2, 3, and 4. GHS Implementation in Cambodia; etc.
