Fisheries (Fish Aggregating Device Management) Regulations, 2014.

These Regulations lay down rules for the registration of fish aggregating devices; additional requirements for licensed vessels to deploy FADs; obligation of purse seine vessels to keep FAD logbook and reporting; marking of FADs and electronic equipment in purse seine vessels operating in the high seas; preparation of FAD management plan in accordance with the Fisheries Act; time and area restrictions for using FADs; reporting of FADs used in closed season; catch retention, prohibitions for fish aggregating devices; obligation to carry an authorized observer in foreign fishing vessels at all times; and offences and penalties.
