Abstract
These Regulations, made under provisions of the Public Health Act, Chapter 9.21 provide for measures concerning public health in the island of Nevis. The Regulations cover the following matters: keeping houses and premises clean and in sanitary conditions; removal of rubbish and waste from the streets or other public places; keeping and collecting of manure; prohibition of throwing and depositing dead animals, manure and other organic waste on the public streets or in any pond or running water; restriction on keeping of pigs; inspection of slaughtered animals and of fresh meat intended for human consumption; restriction on sale of animals died from infectious diseases; keeping of disinfectants; burying of carcasses of animals.
