Abstract
These Regulations, made under provisions of the Public Health Act, Chapter 9.21, provide for: classifying human and animal diseases dangerous to public health as infectious, communicable or notifiable; establishing the quarantine authority; appointing officers, quarantine guards and screening officers; duties and powers of police, including inspection of premises; reporting suspected cases of infectious, communicable or notifiable diseases to the competent authority; implementing emergency supply chain Action Plan, in order to prevent, mitigate and control an epidemic or the spread of an infectious disease; notice of quarantine and isolation and specific measures concerning Covid-19 virus.
