Enforcement Decree of the Act on the prevention of contagious animal diseases.

The purpose of this Decree is to prescribe matters necessary for the enforcement of the Act on the prevention of contagious animal diseases. Article 3 lists the agencies, etc. to which veterinary officers are assigned and their duties. The Minister of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries shall formulate a plan for the development of veterinary science and technology including matters listed in article 4. The head of Si/Gun or autonomous Gu may give the order to close any livestock raising facilities in cases described in article 6 and shall notify in advance the owner of such order. Article 8 deals with matters related to the reutilization of carcasses of domestic animals. Qualifications and duties of quarantine administrator are described in Article 10. The remaining part of the Decree contains penal provisions and provisions of miscellaneous nature.
