Abstract
The purpose of this Decree is to provide for the matters delegated by the Baekdu-daegan Protection Act and matters necessary for the enforcement thereof. The text consists of 12 articles as follows: Purpose (1); Guidelines for Formulation of Implementation Plans for Protection of Baekdudaegan (5); Public Notification of Designation of Baekdudaegan Protection Areas, Cancellation of Designation and Change of Boundaries (7); Activities Permitted in Core Districts (8); Activities Permitted in Buffer Districts (9); Scope of Advance Consultation regarding Development Activities and Guidelines, Procedure for Advance Consultation (10); Formulation, Implementation of Resident Support Programs (11); Delegation of Authority (12).
