Abstract
The purpose of this Decree is to provide for the matters delegated by the Forest Protection Act and matters necessary for the enforcement thereof. The text - consisting of 36 articles – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: Restrictions on Activities within Forest Conservation Zones (art. 3); Management of Forest Conservation Zones (art. 4); Compensation for Losses (art. 5); Management of Forest Genetic Resource Protection Zones within National Parks (art. 5-2); Cancellation of Designation of Forest Conservation Zones (art. 6); (Purchase and Exchange of Land within Forest Conservation Zones (art. 7); Designation of Forest Cleanup Zones (art. 8); Inspection of Current Status of Treatment of Trees (art. 12); Planning and Supervision of Pest Control Projects (art. 16); Formulation and Implementation of Annual Measures for Preventing Forest Fires (art. 19) ; Provision of Landslide Prediction Information (art. 32-6).
