Abstract
The purpose of this Decree is to prescribe matters necessary for the enforcement of the Management of Drinking Water Act.
Quality supervisors of drinking water shall be appointed by the Ministry of Environment as provided for in the Decree.
The Decree sets out provisions related to permissions on the development of spring water or underground saline water, provides for the establishment of Environmental Impact Examination Committees and for qualification standards for quality managers. The Minister of Environment shall impose and collect water-quality improvement charges as provided for in the text.
The remaining part of this Decree contains penal provisions and provisions of miscellaneous nature.
