FOOD ADDITIVES CODE.

The purpose of this Code is to secure safe-quality of food additives and to contribute to public health in using them in food safely through establishing the Standards and Specifications of manufacturing, processing, using and preserving of the food additives according the Article 7 (1) of the Food Sanitation Act.
The Code provides for: component specifications of food additives, the usage standard of food additives, synthetic fragrances which are forbidden to be used as food additives, the test methods, materials required for the safety review, materials required when applying for a new fragrance, etc.
