Abstract
The purpose of this Act is to contribute to improving the people's health and quality of life and to promoting their happiness by providing systematic forest-based forest welfare services, by prescribing matters necessary to promote such welfare. In particular, the State and local governments shall formulate and implement necessary policies to ensure that all the people are allowed to benefit from forest welfare through the promotion of forest welfare services. Moreover, a Forest Welfare Deliberative Committee shall be established under the jurisdiction of the Minister of the Korea Forest Service to deliberate on projects listed in article 8. The text consists of 66 articles.
