Joint Order 494 of the Minister of Agriculture and No. 95 of the Minister of National Economy validating risk assessment criteria and checklists in the field of wildlife protection, reproduction and management.

Risk assessment criteria are a set of quantitative and qualitative indicators related to the direct activities of the subject (object) of control, peculiarities of sectoral development and factors influencing this development, allowing to attribute subjects (objects) of control to different degrees of risk. Subjects (objects) of control shall be considered entities performing activities in the field of protection, reproduction and management of wild fauna species. The purpose of control shall be identification of violations of legislative requirements (failure to comply with establishes periods of wild fauna management, poaching, failure to comply with the requirements related to wildlife trophies collections etc.) in the field of protection, reproduction and management of wild fauna species and assessment of risks thereto. The purpose of risk assessment shall be considered a set of measures performed by supervisory body with a view of prescribing and implementing preventive control. This Order contains specific criteria for the assessment of the degree of risk to wild fauna species (Annexes 1 and 2) and checklists in the field of wildlife protection, reproduction and management (Annexes 2, 3, and 4).
