Law No. 130-VII amending some legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on issues of electricity, energy saving and energy efficiency, subsoil use, local government, state border, housing and communal services and science.

Land Code (No.442-II ZRK of 2003) shall be amended to add the following wording: “The main condition for concluding a contract for the granting to non-state land users the right to temporary gratuitous land use of land plots expropriated for the construction of public social facilities (state secondary schools and preschool organizations, hospitals and clinics), is their further gratuitous transfer, including land plots, without changing the identification characteristics, in communal property of the local executive body”. Law No. 588-II on the electric power industry shall be amended to add the following wording: “The market operator of the centralized trade of electricity shall ensure distribution of electrical power from generating installations put into operation as part of the implementation of modernization, reconstruction and (or) expansion with the construction of generating plants using gas as an alternative fuel”.
