Ministerial Decree No. 18-03/144 validating the Regulation on record keeping and registration of hunting birds of prey used for hunting.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the procedure for record keeping and registration of hunting birds of prey used for hunting. Hunting birds of prey used for hunting in the Republic of Kazakhstan shall be subject to accounting and registration in the republican association of public associations of hunters and hunting management entities, except for those temporarily imported for a period of up to three months. For recording and registration of hunting birds of prey must be submitted the following documents: (a) application of a natural or legal person according to the form contained in Annex 1, indicating the species of hunting birds of prey, their sex, year of birth, estimated period of maintenance, place and method of purchase of the hunting birds of prey, the presence of rings or microchips, certificate data and the applicant's address; (b) documents confirming the legality of the acquisition of a hunting bird of prey (copies of the capture permit, sales contract, receipt and/or payment receipt) and hunting birds of prey issued in the name of the former owner's passport; (c) copy of hunter's license; and (d) copy of the personal identity document of the individual, copy of the certificate (certificates*) on state registration (re-registration) of a legal entity. Registration of hunting bird of prey shall not be performed in case of illegal capture or illegal purchase.
