Ministerial Decree No. 7-1/498 of 29 May 2015 validating the Veterinary (veterinary and sanitary) requirements for production facilities where animals are raised and sold.

This Ministerial Decree establishes veterinary (veterinary and sanitary) requirements for production facilities where animals are raised and sold applicable to production facilities (complexes, poultry farms), feeding stations and areas for trading of animals. Territory of stockbreeding complex shall be divided into the following zones: (a) production zone containing room for main herd and production of commodities, maternity ward, preventive clinics for newborn young children, and a room for the maintenance of young stock, replacement stock, artificial insemination point for animals (except for poultry farms), isolation and quarantine room (stairwell pen, split for veterinary treatment), feed preparation and feed mixtures; (b) veterinary and sanitary unit with a sanitary pass for the attendant personnel; (c) administrative and economic area); (d) feed storage area; and (e) separate manure storage area. Animal husbandry facilities for keeping livestock include the following sites: (a) buildings for animal housing (young animals and adults); (b) pens for the organization of walks of animals with sheds and feeders, drinking water, splits, gangways and scales; (c) a site for storage of manure and slurry, fenced and equipped with drains around the perimeter, with one entrance and one exit. Rooms and open pens for animal housing must be cleared of manure. The slaughterhouse is being built at production facilities (except for poultry farms), which is placed on the fence line of the production site, containing the following facilities: (a) slaughterhouse with room for slaughtering of animals; (b) a room for salting skins and temporary storage; (c) refrigerating chambers for temporary storage of carcasses and by-products; and (d) recycling compartment with autoclave or incinerator. In case the outbreak of infectious diseases, disinfection is carried out in production site.
