Order No. 357 of the Minister of Agriculture validating the Regulation on management of wild fauna species, except for rare and endangered species, for the purpose of preventing epizootic outbreak.

This Order establishes the procedure for management of wild fauna species, except for rare and endangered species, for the purpose of preventing epizootic outbreak. The use of wild fauna species, except for rare and endangered animals, for the purpose of preventing epizootics shall be performed through epizootic monitoring of particularly dangerous animal diseases included in the list of particularly dangerous animal diseases. The aforesaid monitoring shall be performed in the following time periods: (a) annually in spring time before the beginning of the hunting season, during the arrival of wild birds along the main migration routes (assessment of possible introduction of particularly dangerous diseases), where they are landed for the first time: along the route from African and South European wintering grounds (Mangistau, Atyrau and West Kazakhstan regions); along the route from Pakistani wintering grounds (South-Kazakhstan, Kyzylorda, Kostanay and North-Kazakhstan regions); and along the route from Indian wintering grounds (Almaty, East Kazakhstan and Pavlodar regions); and (b) annually, for the purpose of monitoring among susceptible wildlife, biological material (waste) is sampled in their habitats for routine diagnosis.
