Order No. 7-1/31 of the Minister of Agriculture validating the Regulation on state registration of veterinary drugs and feed additives.

This Order establishes the procedure for state registration of veterinary drugs and feed additives. State registration of veterinary drugs, feed additives performed in other countries is not the ground to insert them in the Registers. In the Republic of Kazakhstan, production, import, trade and use (application) of veterinary drugs, feed additives shall be authorized only after their state registration, except in cases of production, import in volumes, required to conduct registration tests. State registration of veterinary drugs and feed additives shall be conducted by the authorized state institution in accordance with the following modalities: (a) in case of availability of normative technical documentation; and (b) by the outcome of approbation. The applicant must submit to the registration authority the application in accordance with the form contained in the Annex 1. Registration certificate for the first time registered (new, improved) veterinary drugs, feed additives shall be issued for a period of 5 (five) years. After the expiry of the specified period of validity of the registration certificate, the registration certificate is issued for an indefinite period of time certificate for veterinary drugs and feed additives after the procedure of state registration. Veterinary drugs and feed additives with expired period of registration certificates, and also registered in other countries and proposed for application in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as in the territory of Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union, shall be subject to registration tests.
