Order No. 7-1/848 of the Minister of Agriculture validating Veterinary (sanitary-veterinary) requirements for manufacturing, storage and trade of veterinary drugs, feedstuffs and feed additives.

This Order establishes veterinary and sanitary requirements for manufacturing, storage and trade of veterinary drugs, feedstuffs and feed additives. Production control consists in checking the quality and safety of incoming raw materials, components, veterinary drugs, feed and feed additives, as well as compliance with technological, sanitary and hygienic regimes, veterinary and sanitary production requirements and storage of veterinary drugs, feedstuffs and feed additives. Feedstuffs and feed additives, as well as products and raw materials for processing, storage and trade shall be accompanied by veterinary documents confirming their safety, certificate of origin good quality. The manufacturer of veterinary drugs organizes their production in compliance with their use and safety requirements in order to prevent risks for consumers, ensuring safety, quality and efficiency. Technological equipment in the manufacturer's production premises shall be authorized in accordance with the list (specification) of equipment and devices required for manufacturing and control of veterinary drugs. Performance of manufacturing process and control thereof shall be authorized by qualified and authorized staff. Quality assurance is the main task of management personnel and requires the participation and responsibility of the personnel of various departments of the manufacturer at all levels, including suppliers and distributors. To ensure that quality requirements are met the system of maintenance and quality control should be carefully designed and properly organized, which must be fully documented and its effectiveness monitored.
