Decree on the Establishment of National Forest Reserves.

With a view to preserve forests, animal species and water sources and protect the environment, the present Decree lists national forest reserves throughout the territory of Lao PDR. Consequently, it establishes measures and restrictions within said areas, regarding, inter alia, the exploitation of protected plants, the harvesting of forest products, hunting and fishing, the use of explosives or poisonous substances, etc.
