The Department of Agriculture and Extension is established under the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, in order to study and assess the implementation of strategies and policies, to gradually establish a reasonable structure of agriculture and extension, to conduct surveys on the administration and utilization of cultivated lands, to encourage the research, etc. Subsequent provisions are made with respect to the organizational structure, the organs and the working methods of the Department.
