Abstract
This Decree consisting of 10 articles aims at regulating import of animal feed, both of animal and vegetable origin. Article 2 prohibits import, manufacture and use of ground meat and bone, fodder of animal origin, animal feed and feed additives for poultry and ruminants containing animal proteins. Except for ground fish. Article 3 establishes that imported forage materials are subject to the prior approval of the Directorate of Livestock. Article 4 lists the necessary documents to import cereals and forage as follows: Agricultural Health Certificate or Veterinary Health Certificate, the certificate of chemical analysis and the Laboratory certificate from the producing company. Article 5 deals with Detection and sampling of imported feed materials. Article 6 concerns the Laboratory tests for all imported fodder.
