Abstract
This Resolution establishes the conditions and requirements for the importation of frozen and deep-frozen meat from India. The meat must be derived from animals bred, slaughtered and cut in region free from the diseases indicated in list (A) for a period of at least 6 months from the last outbreak of the disease according to the official publication of the International Office of Epizootic Diseases. The importation of frozen and deep-frozen meat from India is allowed only if the slaughterhouses and factories are authorized and registered in the Ministry of Agriculture. The slaughterhouses are to be subject to official veterinary control. The meat must be accompanied with a sanitary certificate issued by the country of origin and a certificate from an authorized laboratory certifies that the meat is disease free according to the Lebanese Standardization and Metrology.
