Abstract
This Act amends the Labour Code Act, no. 37 of 2006. The amendments cover several sections of the main Act, and concern: changing the name of the Act, replacing the word “Code” with the word “Act”; replacement of terms concerning public institutions and officers; replacement of the terms “child” and “young persons” with “minor”; modification of working hours and of meal intervals; insertion of new definitions concerning: average pay, total remuneration; modification of provisions concerning child labour, and the limits of age; application of the natural justice principle in case of misconduct of an employee.
