Abstract
This Act, divided into 21 Parts, provides for promoting and protecting trade marks and for related matters. The Act concerns the following matters: classification of trade marks; rights given by registration of trade marks, including right of use; powers of authorised user of registered trade mark; registration and related matters; registration of series of trade marks; trade marks and geographical indications; protection from false geographical indications; removal of trade mark from register for non-use; infringement of trade mark and importation of goods infringing trade marks; offences and protection of intellectual property rights; collective trade marks measures; certification of trade mark; jurisdiction and powers of courts.
