Abstract
The present Ordinance implements the Act of 25 November 2010 on the handling of genetically modified, pathogene or alien organisms (Organisms Act). The purpose of the Ordinance is to protect human beings and the environment, in particular animals and plants and their symbiosis against harmful or annoying effects through the handling of genetically modified organisms. The text consists of 49 articles divided into 6 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Handling of genetically modified organisms in closed systems (II); Handling of genetically modified organisms in the environment (III); Introduction of release experiments (IV); Implementation (V); Final provisions (VI). Four Annexes are enclosed.
