Coast Conservation Regulations, No. I of 1982

These Regulations are made pursuant to Coast Conservation Act, No. 57 of 1981. Regulation No. 2 lays down the criteria to determine granting of permit for any development activity. Regulation No. 3 exempts cultivation of crops and planting of trees and other vegetation from the permit requirements. Regulation No. 6 provides the particulars to be furnished for an environment impact assessment.
