Control of Pesticides (Amendment) Act 1994 (No. 6 of 1994).

The long title of the Control of Pesticides Act is amended by substituting for the words "Formulary Committee" the words "Technical and Advisory Committee". Moreover, the Act amends several other sections concerning inter alia: (a) the sphere of application of the Act; (b) the appointment and powers of Assistant Registrars of Pesticides; (b) the composition and functions of the Pesticide Technical and Advisory Committee; (c) the procedure for the registration of pesticides; (d) the granting of the licence by the Registrar; (e) the prohibition of selling pesticides without a certificate to be issued by an authorized officer (new Section 21A); (f) offences and penalties.
