Abstract
These Regulations make provision for the disposal of timber. All timber which has been confiscated or has become vested in the State under any of the provisions of the Forest Ordinance or under any rules or regulations made thereunder, shall be taken charge of by an officer empowered in that behalf by the Divisional Forest Officer of the area in which such timber is found. Such timber shall be disposed of depending on the circumstances of each case in one of the following cases: (a) by being sent to a State Timber Corporation Depot to be disposed of by sawing or by sale at the prevailing prices; (b) by being sold by public auction; or (c) by being sold to any Government Department or Government sponsored Corporation.
