Forest Regulations amending Regulations No. 01 of 2008.

These Regulations amend Regulations No. 1 of 2008. Amendments deal with the following provisions: the transportations of all species of timber specified in Column III of Schedule II within the Divisional Secretary's Divisions specified in Column II of that Schedule and located within the Administrative Districts referred in Column I of the said Second Schedule, shall be exempted from the requirement of obtaining permits. The transportation of sawn timber specified in Column III of the Third Schedule and any item made out of such species of timber within the Municipal Council and Urban Council limits specified in Column II of that Schedule and located within the Administrative Districts referred to in Column I of the Third Schedule, shall be exempted from the requirement of obtaining permits. Schedules specify Districts, geographical limits and tree species and all the other species of timber to be collected.
