Imports and Exports (Control) Regulations No. 07 of 2021.

On 9 November 2017, the Sri Lankan Minister of Development Strategies and International Trade through Extraordinary Gazette No. 2044/40 updated the Schedule I and Schedule IV of the Special Import License Regulations under the Imports and Exports (Control) Act. Schedule I lists the goods for which an import license will be required.
Section 3, 4 of this Imports and Exports (Control) Regulations No. 07 of 2021, have added goods to be inserted into the Schedule I or Schedule IV of the Special Import License Regulations, including mineral or chemical fertilisers, insecticides, rodenticides, fungicides, herbicides, anti-sprouting products and plant-growth regulators, etc.
