Irrigation (Amendment) Act 1983 (No. 23 of 1983).

The amendments concern inter alia: (a) section 65 regarding the removal of obstruction or encroachment and repairs to damage; (b) section 66 on the payment of the expenses incurred for the removal or abatement of any obstruction or encroachment or for the repair to any damage caused; (c) insertion of new section 66A regarding the contravention to sections 11 and 64 of the principal Act; (d) section 110 on the establishment of the Irrigation Fines Fund; (e) other sections on offences and penalties.
