The Act (119 sections) consists of 9 Parts: Irrigation Rates (I); District Agricultural Committees (II); Meetings of Proprietors (III); Cultivation Committees and their Agents (IV); Construction and Maintenance of Irrigation Works (V); Protection of Irrigation Works and Conservation of Water (VI); Recovery of Money Due (VII); Offences (VIII); General (IX).
