National Environmental (Procedure for Approval of Projects) Regulations 1993 (No. 1 of 1993).

The Regulations set out the procedure to be followed for the approval of projects by the Project Approving Agency. The procedure consists inter alia of the following: submission of preliminary information by the applicant; submission of the Initial Environmental Examination Report; granting or refusal to grant the approval; notification of the Report for public inspection; implementation of the proposed project.
