Lesotho Electricity and Water Authority Water and Sewage Treatment Facilities Safety Standards 2013.

These Water and Sewage Treatment Facilities Safety Standards, made by the Lesotho Electricity and Water Authority in terms of Sections 22(1) (q) of the Lesotho Electricity Authority Act, are to be complied with by the Licensee at its water and sewage treatment plants with regard to protection of the premises, safe access to the civil structures and use of safety apparatus. They shall apply to the operation and maintenance of all water and sewage treatment facilities operated by a licensee. The implementation of the standards shall be subject to labour and environment legislation. It is the duty of the licensee to ensure that the installations on its water and sewage treatment plants and the operation of the plants comply with the standards.
