Abstract
Article 20 establishes that generation of electricity from renewable energy sources shall be stimulated by the procedure established by the Government with a view of provision of services of public interest in the electricity sector. Article 20 (1) establishes that electricity producers from renewable sources have the right to install power plants using solar energy, wind and biomass energy sources with an installed capacity of up to 10 kW if the plant is set up by a natural person. The total installed power of solar power, wind and biomass energy sources shall not exceed 100 MW, of which: (a) 70 MW of power is allocated to natural persons; and (b) 30 MW of power is allocated to legal persons.
