Law No. XIII-1566 amending Law No. IX-2499 “On noise management”.

Article 4 shall be amended to add the following wording: “The Aircraft Noise Certificate is issued by the Transport Expertise Agency in accordance with the procedure set by the Ministry of Transport, after verifying that the aircraft data conforms to the requirements of the legal acts and standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization. Airborne noise monitoring (assessment) systems must be able to monitor continuously the noise levels day and night for at least three consecutive days. The number of observation points and observation points and the monitoring procedure are set by the Lithuanian Transport Safety Administration.”
