Law No. XIII-406 amending Law No. XI-1375 "On energy based on renewable sources".

Article 38 shall be amended to add the following wording: “2. The amount of greenhouse gas emissions from the use of biofuels and bioliquids, as compared to the amount of exhaust gases from the use of fossil fuels, should decrease: (a) at least 35 percent if biofuels and bioliquids were manufactured in installations that were put into operation by 2015. October 5 and are in operation until 2017. December 31st; (b) at least 50 percent if biofuels and bioliquids were manufactured in installations that were put into operation by 2015. October 5, 2018 1 January; and (c) at least 60 per cent for biofuels and bioliquids produced in installations in which production was started in 2015. October 6 or later.”
