Law No. XIII-605 amending Law No. XI-1375 "On energy based on renewable sources".

Article 13 shall be amended to add the following wording: “The installed total power of solar energy, wind and biomass energy-generating power users of electricity generating companies is calculated as the capacity of these power plants as indicated in the valid permits to develop electricity generation capacities, electricity generation permits and connection conditions for electricity generating customers envisaging expansion (of installed) renewable energy power plants, for which, in accordance with the procedure established in Paragraph 14 of Article 16 of the Electricity Act, no authorization is required for the development of electricity generating capacity. The State Energy Inspectorate at the Ministry of Energy publishes and constantly updates information on the installed capacity of power generating power plants on its website.” Article 17 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Electricity Network Operator has the full power of the producer of electricity, which complies with the provisions of Article 2 (1) of this Law, to receive, transmit and/or distribute on a transparent and non-discriminatory basis the quantity of electricity produced from renewable energy sources from the producer. This right of priority for the receipt, transmission and/or distribution of electricity is guaranteed to the producer in respect of all electricity produced by other electricity generators.”
