Order No. D1-100 of the Minister of Environment validating the Regulation on special inland fisheries.

This Regulation establishes the procedure, terms and conditions for special inland fisheries, issuance, suspension, cancellation and revocation of fishing licenses, submittal of applications and report, and fishing charges. It shall be mandatory for all legal entities and natural persons performing inland fisheries, except for fisheries in private artificial waterbodies. Fishing licenses shall be issued in electronic form by the Environmental Protection Agency related to fishery waterbodies recorded in the Register of rivers, lakes and ponds of the Republic of Lithuania. Special inland fisheries shall be intended fisheries performed after reduction of water level in ponds and lakes as specified by the Decree No. 33 of the Minister of Environment validating the Regulation on authorization for change of water level in ponds and lakes and issuance of permits. The application for issuance of special inland fisheries license must contain the following data: (a) the names of waterbodies and the codes thereof as recorded in the Register of rivers, lakes and ponds of the Republic of Lithuania; (b) the number of fishing days and fishing gear; (c) registration data of fishing vessels; (d) desired fishing period; (e) the purpose of fishing; (f) copy of contract with legal or natural persons commissioning fisheries; and (g) consent of the owner of waterbody. Special inland fisheries shall be performed exclusively by the authorized applicant and his employees. Fishing license shall be issued by the competent public authority within 10 working days from receipt of the application and accompanying documentation.
