Abstract
The Regulation prescribes the procedures for the performance of commercial fishing by natural and legal persons of the Republic of Latvia in the territorial waters and economic zone waters of the Republic of Latvia, and in the economic zone waters of other states in the Baltic Sea; and foreign natural and legal persons in the economic zone waters of the Republic of Latvia. Within the meaning of this Regulation for the provision of efficient fishing management a separate area of waters coastal waters shall be determined in the territorial waters of the Republic of Latvia where the depth does not exceed 20 metres, except shallow water zones which are located further than 20-metre isobath.
