Cabinet Regulation No. 879 of 2011 on Geodetic Reference System and the Topographic Map System

This Regulation prescribes the procedures for the creation, use and maintenance of the geodetic reference system; the parameters of the geodetic co-ordinate system of Latvia (1992) and the procedures for the application thereof; the procedures for the application of the normal heights system of the Baltic States (1977); and the parameters of the topographic map system (1993) and the procedures for the application thereof. A local geodetic network shall be created on the basis of the national geodetic network.
