Abstract
This Regulation determines the procedure for granting, administering and monitoring state and European Union support in the form of activity related to the European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund Improving the quality of fish habitats. Support is applied for, the project application is evaluated and selected, a decision on project approval is made, the project is implemented, public funding is requested and paid out, the project is monitored and financial corrections are applied in accordance with the regulatory enactments on the general procedures for the allocation, administration and supervision of state and European Union support for rural development and for the development of fisheries, insofar as they do not conflict with these rules. The event supports activities in the management and flood risk management plans of the Daugava, Gauja, Lielupe and Venta river basin areas 2022-2027 in the identified priority obstacles to fish migration. This Regulation specifies eligible and non-eligible costs for granting financing, application procedure, documents to be submitted and additional conditions for requesting public funding. Annex 1 contains project selection criteria.
