Regulation of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 301 validating the Procedure for awarding state aid for the promotion of the agricultural and fishery market.

This Regulation determines measures in which state aid is granted for the promotion of the agricultural and fishery market, the amount of aid, as well as the criteria and procedures for granting aid. The support includes funding in the amount of 1,163,500 euros for the following support measures: (a) 522,500 euros for the organization of Latvian agricultural and food sector representative stands at international exhibitions and participation in them; (b) co-financing for participation in international agricultural and food exhibitions abroad – 181,000 euros; (c) for co-financing for participation in collective stands – 360,000 euros; and (d) for the implementation of the coastal fisheries development marketing program – 100,000 euros. The Rural Support Service posts information on the procedure for granting and disbursing support on its website. The justified expenses of the support provided for in these Regulation shall include value added tax, if it is not recoverable from the state budget. The purpose of the support is to increase and diversify Latvia's export of agricultural and food products. Support is granted to the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Economics for the organization of collective stands in the period from February 1 to December 31, 2024.
