Abstract
This amendment, comprised of two articles, replaces Article 7 of the original Law, affirming that land distribution is reserved for Libyan Arab citizens lacking sufficient means for a decent living, provided they are engaged in or capable of agricultural work, outlining specific requirements for eligibility within families, and mandating that recipients prove their status within two years of distribution, including providing a livelihood certificate and evidence of voluntary service in popular resistance as per the Revolutionary Leadership Council's decision. The board of the Public Agricultural Settlement and Land Development Corporation is authorized to grant an additional two-year period to recipients under valid circumstances.
