Resolution No. 597 of 1986 amending some provisions of the Resolution to establish the Technical Center for Environmental Protection.

This Resolution, comprising 4 articles, brings amendments to the original Resolution: (i) altering the composition of the Supreme Scientific Committee in Article 4; (ii) revising the responsibilities of the Committee outlined in Article 5, which now include approving scientific programs and research on environmental protection, adopting solutions to mitigate pollution, approving the center's budget, issuing administrative and financial regulations, and enforcing pollution prevention measures; (iii) adjusting the composition of the Administrative Committee overseeing the Center's management; (iv) modifying the tasks of the Administrative Committee to include proposing the Center's policy, overseeing its implementation, preparing budgets, developing regulations, conducting environmental studies, monitoring pollution, and ensuring compliance with regulations; (v) introducing Article 8 bis detailing the functions of the Secretary of the Administrative Committee.
