Decree of the Ministry of Communal Services and Housing Facilities validating the Regulation on water metering devices.

This Ministerial Decree establishes the modalities of supply potable cold water used for household or sanitary purposes, metering and registration thereof. Water metering devices shall determine the quantity of incoming and outcoming water. Installation of water metering device shall be carried out in accordance with authorization and compulsory certification of the aforesaid device. In case of inspection of the device at the request of the apartment owner if the device is in order all the expenses shall be charged thereto. If the inspection establishes that the device is out of order and is metering to the advantage of water supplier compensation of damages shall be charged to the water supplier.
