This Decision approves the requirements governing the entry into the Republic of Moldova of consignments of food-producing animals and certain goods intended for human consumption. The approved requirements establish conditions applicable to animals, products of animal origin, composite products and other goods entering the country from third countries. The text sets out rules concerning the countries, territories and establishments from which consignments may be authorized for entry, as well as the certification and accompanying documentation required for such consignments.
The requirements regulate the entry of a range of products intended for human consumption, including meat, meat products, milk and dairy products, fishery products, eggs, honey, live bivalve molluscs and composite products.
