Abstract
This Government Decree implements Council Directive 2000/29/EC on protective measures against the introduction into the Community of organisms harmful to plants or plant products and against their spread within the Community. Commission Implementing Directive 2014/78/EU amending Annexes I, II, III, IV and V to Council Directive 2000/29/EC on protective measures against the introduction into the Community of organisms harmful to plants or plant products and against their spread within the Community and Commission Implementing Directive 2014/83/EU amending Annexes I, II, III, IV and V to Council Directive 2000/29/EC on protective measures against the introduction into the Community of organisms harmful to plants or plant products and against their spread within the Community. Its establishes plant protection measures related to import and transport of plants and plant products on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, in particular treatment of wood species (chemical treatment, thermic treatment, ionizing radiation, fumigation, drying), declaration of compliance with the established standards issued by the competent authority of exporting country and declaration of origin of species that must be free of pests and diseases.
