Government Decree No. 669 amending Government Decree No. 1405 validating Veterinary and Sanitary Regulation on hygiene of feedstuffs and contents of undesirable substances therein.

New wording shall be added to the Government Decree No. 1405 validating Veterinary and Sanitary Regulation on hygiene of feedstuffs and contents of undesirable substances therein: “In case of suspected contamination of animals and products of animal origin through water, measures are taken to assess risks and reduce them.". Paragraph 70 shall be appended at the end with the text "(a) the labelling of products should clearly indicate whether they are intended for animal feed or for other purposes; and (b) if a particular batch of products is declared not for use in animal feed, this statement will not be subsequently changed by the operator at a new stage in the food chain”.
