Government Resolution No. HG656/2023 amending Government Resolution No. HG950/2013 validating the Regulation on requirements to the collection, treatment and discharge of wastewater into sewer system and/or to receivers for urban and rural areas.

In accordance with the contract on the reception of industrial wastewater or MPC values are established by the contract for the provision of wastewater treatment services based on the existing load of wastewater pollutants in the sewerage system and load of wastewater treatment facilities, but not lower than the values established by this Regulation. In the event of emergency discharges by consumers leading to violation of the conditions for the discharge of industrial wastewater into the public sewerage network, the consumer is obliged to immediately stop the discharge and take the necessary measures to correct the situation, inform the operator who manages the sewerage networks and treatment facilities, as well as the environmental protection authorities. This Government Resolution lists industry sectors and service sectors in which it is mandatory provision of pre-cleaning/cleaning wastewater at local/in-house treatment plants/installations/structures.
